Terms of Service
Effective August 23, 2026. These terms are between you, the business operator, and ProofWright LLC.
By creating a SureWright account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use SureWright.
1. The service
SureWright is software for managing customers, scheduling visits, sending quotes and invoices, and collecting payments. We provide the software. You run your business. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers, and we do not perform, guarantee or insure any work you do.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by people you invite. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has it.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts.
- One business per account. You may invite as many team members as you like.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use SureWright for anything illegal; send spam or messages a recipient has not agreed to receive; enter customer data you do not have the right to use; charge a card without the cardholder’s authorization; try to access another operator’s data; reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service; or resell it. We may suspend an account that does any of these while we look into it.
4. Payments you collect from customers
- Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe through a Stripe account that belongs to you. You are the merchant of record on every charge. Your name, not ours, appears on the customer’s statement.
- By connecting Stripe you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement.
- Chargebacks, disputes and refunds are yours. If a customer disputes a charge, the amount, any dispute fee and the outcome hit your Stripe balance. SureWright gives you the records (approved quote, signature, visit log) to respond, but we do not decide or fund disputes.
- Processing fees are charged per transaction at the rate shown in your account before you enable payments. Processing fees are not refunded when you refund a customer.
- You are responsible for getting and keeping your customer’s authorization to store a payment method and to charge it for completed visits, and for honoring a customer’s request to remove it.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, licenses, insurance and compliance with laws that apply to your trade.
5. Your subscription
- SureWright is billed monthly, in advance, by card, through Stripe. The price is shown before you subscribe and on your invoices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price changes.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate or refund partial months.
- If a payment fails we will retry and tell you. If it still fails after 14 days we may suspend the account until it is paid.
- Subscriptions are purchased on the web only, never inside the mobile app.
6. Your data
Your data is yours. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it at any time. We keep each operator’s data separate from every other operator’s.
7. Connected services
If you connect Google, Microsoft, QuickBooks, Xero or Stripe, your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We may stop supporting a connection if the provider changes or withdraws access, and we will tell you if that happens.
8. Our property
SureWright, its code, design and name belong to ProofWright LLC. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it while your account is in good standing. Feedback you give us can be used without obligation to you.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, has not paid, or creates legal or security risk, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. After closure you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it, except what we must keep by law.
10. Disclaimers
SureWright is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it up and accurate, but we do not promise it will be error-free or available without interruption. We are not responsible for the work you do, the amounts you charge, or the conduct of your customers or team.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ProofWright LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from SureWright. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for SureWright in the 12 months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and hold ProofWright LLC harmless from claims arising from your business, your services, your charges to customers, or your breach of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, you agree to email us and give us 30 days to resolve the problem.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you and show a notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use SureWright after that date means you accept the new terms.
